About Owner Debbie Cobb:
It started in the year of 2002 at the National Assoc. Of Realtors Convention in Chicago, IL. I was walking down the aisle at the convention and was attacked by this Robot that was just having a ball with me. I couldn’t believe this thing. It just followed me where ever I went and asked me numerous questions just like a real human being. It realized it wasn’t going to leave me alone until I walked into its booth so I did. I saw this huge EXIT sign and asked what in the world is Exit?

Their were two gentlemen working the booth and they proceeded to tell me the EXIT story. I was very interested in it. I should say I was all over the concept. It made sense to me immediately; I got excited and asked how could I become a part of this? They asked me “where do you live?” I told them St. Louis, Mo. They proceed to tell me that no one had bought the region yet at this time and I would have to wait until someone bought it to be an agent or a franchise owner unless I wanted to buy a regional territory. I knew I wasn’t up to a Regional Territory but I knew this company had the right idea. I took their big black EXIT Bag filled with info. On the company and from time to time over the next year and a half I took the info. Out and looked at it and I started watching the phenomenal growth of the company over the internet. I also read several ad’s or articles about them in different realtor magazines. Each time I read something about them I got excited again. 

Then in July 2003 my family and myself were at Daytona Beach, Florida on vacation when we received a dreadful phone call that my husband would be losing his job in the Airline industry after 26 years. He was devastated and needless to say our vacation was ruined. He was so concerned as to what he was going to do for his future. I told him he could sell real estate he said No Way! He had been around me too long. Then I told him about the EXIT concept. He did a complete turn around. Now, you have to understand my husband is pretty conservative, but he sure surprised me, He too thought the concept was awesome. He knew right away the potential one would have in the Exit Organization. My conservative husband was ready to take the chance of a lifetime opportunity! In Sept. 2003 I called Exit International in Toronto Canada and asked if anyone had purchased the Region of Missouri yet and I was told that someone had just done that…. I was very excited. We made contact with the Regional Franchise Rep. that week and signed a letter of intent . The following week I went to southern Florida where I knew there were several Exit office’s. I spent 4 days there interviewing Broker/Owners to see how their office was as well as their growth. I saw that numerous offices were growing at a very rapid pace buying their 2nd office with in a year. One office bought 5 franchises in a very short period of time. Every Broker I spoke with had nothing to say but positive things about Exit and they were very helpful to me. Needless to say I liked what I saw and heard in Florida and here I sit today as a franchise owner. I closed on my franchise at the end of Oct. 2003 and went to the National Assoc. Of Realtors Convention In San Francisco. This time our EXIT booth had 80 people working it !!! A lot more than 2 people working a booth in Chicago 2 years ago. How’s that for GROWTH!!

The following week I went to Broker training in Toronto Canada for a week. WOW! What a powerful company and one to be reckoned with ! The CEO and founder of this company Steve Morris is on a mission to make this the number 1 real estate company and I know he will. 

I was so excited after broker training I came back and with out having an office yet recruited 7 agents into the company. It seems as if most any one you speak to in real estate gets excited about the incredible opportunity with Exit. They immediately realize that we have a unique opportunity far beyond any other real estate company with higher commission pay out, retirement program, & a beneficiary program. The Exit System is a System that is sure to grow and succeed. We have a training program that is hands on and very thorough.

I was proudly born and raised in the Almost Heaven State of Wild Wonderful West Virginia.  My hobbies are fishing in the beautiful rivers and lakes that West Virginia has to offer, going to the beach with my wife and kids and reading the bible.  I have worked for the airline industry for 26 years until while on vacation in Daytona Beach Fl. July 2003 I received a phone call telling me that I was going to be losing my job as of Nov. 1, 2003.  I was devastated needless to say.  What was I going to do?  Well, my wife being the real estate agent that she is and has been for 18 years looked at the positive side of things and said “ you can get into real estate with me and we will go at this full force together.”  We discussed the fantastic opportunities that EXIT had to offer and I knew immediately that there was a new future for us.  So, we bought an EXIT franchise.  We saw the growth pattern of EXIT doubling in size every year and knew the concept and knew we had to go with this.  We have so much to offer people at EXIT with a 10% Residual Program, 7% Retirement Program and a 5% Beneficiary Program that we knew our company would grow very quickly.  The name EXIT means safe passage.
